ON OUR SITE YOU WILL FIND
THE DANCES SONGS TUNES AND NOTATION FOR SOME OF OUR AWARD WINNING COMPOSITIONS
We hope you will explore what we have on offer here.
The depth of our musical influences we hope will suit most tastes. We believe that music is the very soul of all cultures and our journeys around the world have given us a greater understanding of many aspects of folk music.
We believe in the words of the immortal Louis Armstrong he said "All music is folk music I never heard a horse sing a song yet "
We have played many types of music and are influenced by the spread of Celtic music whose influence has developed all around the world. USA, Canada, Latin America, Spain, France, Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales
We are excited by the dances that accompany this music and study the music as well as the accompanying dance steps which also have their own national identity.
Most of all, no matter where we have been, although there are aspects of seriousness in all these cultural differences, the most important factor is that people enjoy what they do. They are proud of their country, its music and its dances and they have enormous fun.

I am a big fan and follower of Dudley Laufman the dancing master of Canterbury New England USA. His "Dudley Dances" raised public interest in Old time country dancing and he was awarded USA's National Heritage fellowship in 2009. The highest award for Folks Arts in the USA
